When i play the viola, i can only read the alto clef by fingering rather than notes. how can i learn correctly?
For example. if i see a c note on the g string, i can only read it in view of the note being third finger on the g string. i fell into this habit for five years and never learned the correct way. Like learning a secondary language, i find it nearly impossible to learn the right way! Please give me tips to learn the correct way the fastest and most effectively.
